Vatican City is an independent city-state nestled into the city of Rome. It was also the first micro-state I ever visited, which was very exciting! The border between Vatican City and surrounding Rome can be easily missed if you don't notice the brick pavers marking it. After a quick stroll around St. Peter's Basilica, I headed to the Vatican Museum to see its incredible art collection, so here are some of my favorite pics from the trip!
