One of the joys of living in central Europe is that you're only a short train ride away from a new country or city. And nowhere is this more true than in Vienna. While on a recent visit to the city, we indulged on a day trip to Sopon in Hungary, which is conveniently connected to Vienna by the local commuter rail system. What a great excuse to see a new country and track down some authentic Hungarian cuisine! I'm sure we'll be back someday to explore other places in the country, but at least our daughter got to try her first slice of dobostorte!
