#72 AUSTRIA

What can I say - I love Austrian food! Maybe it's the European genes deep down in my ancestry that make me love a good schnitzel. I don't know, but in any case, I've eaten well on every trip here and always look forward to a visit, whether it's a quick layover or a stay of a few days to visit our friend, Lena, whom we've known since our days in Nanjing.

There's a lot to see, do, and eat in Vienna, and I find it one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen in Europe. The weather is also surprisingly lovely, with bright blue skies in a part of the world that I usually associate with gloom and grey. My tips for Vienna are straightforward: go to the Natural History Museum, go to the Opera House, go to Cafe Central, and eat at every Gasthaus you can find! Enjoy!
